WEEK 12
DIGITISATION [AFTER EFFECT]:
Before starting After Effects, I realised I got the size wrong, which I
then adjusted using the cropping tool on Photoshop.

Once I was satisfied with the composition, I renamed all the layers and
organised them into folders to easily be manipulated in After Effect.

I started by isolating the group layers and adjusting them one by one. For
the ocean area, the puddles were moved in different
directions with different time intervals to give a floating/drifting
effect. This was repeated and duplicated multiple times with the last
keyframe being identical to the start so it can be a looped video.

For the sun, I made the centre spiral rotate for two rounds from start to
finish. As for the sun beams, I had to duplicate the layer and use mask to
select alternating beams. Initially, the opacity of the beams were
supposed to alternate in different speeds and I changed it so the opacity
goes from 100% to 0% (and vice versa) in a span of 0.5 seconds.

Something similar to the puddles was done for the waterfall where I
adjusted each part's opacity in a sporadic manner to imitate the end of a
waterfall.

Additionally, I also manipulated the waterfall using Puppet tool to give the effect of moving water.

Once everything was satisfactory, I played the video for preview and
adjusted timing to better suit each moving element.
