Reflection
Experience: It is finally the end of the semester and the final project was recently finished! IVN was one of the modules I looked forward to coming to degree and assignment-wise, it definitely did not disappoint! Overall, I had tons of fun creating the compositions and coming up with different ideas for each project. I enjoyed the second and final project most because they were quite similar to what I usually do, just the difference in softwares.
Observation: The tutorials given by Mr. Hafiz as well as assignments from other modules that used the same software definitely helped me become used to Adobe Illustrator. Moreover, I noticed the importance of having multiple references and branching out to different themes when it comes to creating artwork based on what my friends and even past seniors have done.
Findings: I find that the more you use Adobe Illustrator, the less intimidating it gets. Initially, I thought Illustrator was a "pro" software with its different functions and buttons but once you get the hang of it, the software eventually grows on you. Once you figure out the important shortcuts and done enough exercises, Adobe Illustrator is somewhat similar to any other art softwares, it is just a matter of how you adapt to it.
